Hello!

Hello! My name is Kayla Guy. I am a young professional currently working in the construction & interior design world of design in Cape Coral, FL and surrounding areas. I have a passion for working with others to make their vision come to life!

My professional experience in the design and architecture world includes commercial as well as residential design. After I received my Bachelors of Fine Art in Interior Architecture & Design from Columbus College of Art & Design in Columbus, OH, I began my professional career in commercial and hospitality design in Myrtle Beach, SC. I then moved to Cape Coral, FL to be closer to family and begin my career in residential design. I thoroughly enjoy designing spaces where people go to have long lasting memories and positive experiences. Knowing that you are designing something that is going to make the end user have a positive emotional reaction is an amazing feeling. Having the opportunity to bring it to life is even better!

I love using computer software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite to further communicate my designs and help aid in bringing them to life. While I enjoy working with computers, I will never hesitate to quickly communicate my ideas through hand sketching and drafting. When I am not designing, I love hitting the beach, boating, and enjoying all of Florida’s wonders it has to offer!

Through my future professional creative endeavors, I hope to gain invaluable knowledge, experience, and growth as a designer and artist.
